The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador has a available to learners in the third year of their medical program. This program is designed to attract learners to commence practise in designated areas of need in Newfoundland and Labrador upon obtaining full licensure in this province. The Department of Health and Community Services will provide bursaries to eligible medical learners to assist with academic and living expenses during training.
