12.3 Evaluation

In order to continue in the School of Graduate Studies and in order to qualify for a Master's Degree, a student shall obtain an 'A' or 'B' grade in each regulation course. Some students may be required to read a specified number of additional graduate or undergraduate courses for which a passing grade must be achieved.

Students registered for credit shall write their examinations in their graduate courses at a time to be determined by the Dean on the recommendation of the Department.

Students registered in undergraduate courses shall satisfy examination requirements in these courses.

When, on a basis of consultation with the student, the instructors in graduate courses, and the thesis Supervisor, the Head of a Department has determined that the student's work has fallen below a satisfactory level, the Head may recommend to the Dean that the student be required to withdraw from the program.
