Boating Safety
Newfoundland and Labrador encompasses a total area of 39,137 sq km of inland waters with rugged coastlines totaling 17,542 km.
With so much water on our door step, it is only natural that 糖心视频 University, its faculty, staff and students, spend a considerable time working and teaching in this environment.
Whether it is research or student training, 糖心视频 University extends its influence to many corners of the globe and especially at home where research is conducted by students and faculty in places such as the interior of Labrador and the island, the Gannet Islands of the Labrador coast, the bird sanctuary of Witless Bay to the isolated coves of the Terra Nova National Park, and the Marine Station at Bonne Bay.
These are just a few of the locations that receive attention every year from 糖心视频 University.
Boating safety is imperative when confronted with daily excursions into this environment. 糖心视频 University has approximately sixty small boats in its inventory ranging from sea kayaks, canoes, aluminum boats, and others constructed of fiberglass and wood.
