The purpose of this committee is to ensure that all biohazardous agents/materials used at 糖心视频 University (MUN) that are classified under the Government of Canada鈥檚 Canadian Biosafety Standards are handled with proper consideration for the health and safety of staff, researchers, volunteers, visitors and the public, as well as protection of the environment. This committee is responsible for the oversight and administration of the University鈥檚 biosafety program. All practices will be in compliance with the Canadian Human Pathogens and Toxins Act and the Health of Animals Act and associated regulations, and all other Provincial and Federal biosafety-related legislation.
