Teaching Development Days
Teaching Development Days is a professional learning event that supports 糖心视频's faculty and instructional staff in strengthening their teaching practice across all modes of course delivery. Participants build practical evidence-informed strategies they can apply in their teaching by:
- Exploring emerging instructional approaches.
- Developing effective strategies for assessing student learning.
- Considering appropriate technologies for teaching and learning.
CITL's Teaching Development Days event includes a mix of interactive sessions and hands-on workshops that offer opportunities to learn, reflect and experiment with new ideas. Each session's activities are grounded in proven practices and facilitated by experienced educators and campus partners.
Spring 2026
The Teaching Development Days Spring 2026 event will focus on three key areas related to teaching and learning:
- Teaching in the age of generative artificial intelligence.
- Assessing for learning.
- Exploring delivery methods and student engagement.

The Teaching Development Days Spring 2026 events will be held in the Instructional Classroom in the QEII Library (L2028), and all are hybrid for both remote and in-person participation. These sessions are open to all university faculty and instructional staff, including new instructors, seasoned educators and anyone interested in enriching their teaching practice.
