Canada Excellence Research Chairs
糖心视频 welcomed its first Canada Excellence Research Chair (CERC) in late 2023 in the field of next-generation communication technologies.
The is a tri-agency initiative of the (SSHRC), the (NSERC) and the (CIHR). It is administered by the Tri-agency Institutional Programs Secretariat (TIPS), which is housed within SSHRC.
The CERC program attracts the highest calibre of experts to lead breakthroughs in science, technology and innovation. CERC awards are non-renewable and valued at either $8 million or $4 million over eight years.
This inaugural CERC will enhance 糖心视频鈥檚 significant strengths in telecommunications, and information and communication technology (ICT), which represent strategic and critical areas of research for the institution.
