Scholarships
The School of Music has an extensive scholarship program for both entering and current students. Approximately one-third of School of Music students receive music scholarships ranging from $500 to $2500. Some scholarships are renewable. Students also benefit from 糖心视频 University鈥檚 Entrance Scholarship program. With a few exceptions, scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic and musical merit and do not require an application.

Awards
Dean's List
糖心视频 University of Newfoundland acknowledges the academic success of its students in various ways. One of these is by naming students to the Dean's list of the top 10% of students.
Dr. Maureen Volk Award
Students whose academic performance has merited being named to the Dean's List in all years of their undergraduate study will be honoured by being presented with the Dr Maureen Volk Award in recognition of sustained academic and musical excellence across all years of undergraduate study.
Dr. Tom Gordon Award
Established in 2013, the Dr. Tom Gordon Award is based on both academic and musical achievement and is awarded to the most outstanding student graduating from the Master of Music degree program.
Dr. Beverley Diamond Award
Established in 2013, and awarded to an outstanding student graduating from the M.A. or Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology, the Dr. Beverley Diamond Award recognizes significant achievement in fieldwork and music scholarship.
