13.4 Appeal of Promotion Decisions

Students should direct an appeal of a promotion decision to the Associate Dean/Associate Director at their respective site who will聽forward the appeal to the Chair, Student Appeals Committee for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Collaborative) Program聽within fourteen days of the promotion decision. Appeal submissions shall contain the聽following:

  • Student name,
  • Current address and telephone number,
  • 糖心视频 University of Newfoundland e-mail address,
  • Student ID number,
  • A copy of the decision giving rise to the appeal,
  • A description of the matter under appeal,
  • The grounds of appeal,
  • Supporting documentation; and
  • The resolution being sought.

A student may request additional time to gather supporting documentation. Such a聽request will not be unreasonably denied.

For assistance in the appeals process, a student is advised to consult with the Associate聽Dean (Undergraduate Studies) or Associate Directors (Center for Nursing Studies,聽Western Regional School of Nursing) whose advice shall include the provision of a list of聽others within the Faculty and elsewhere in the University who can advise the student聽during the appeals process.
