Colin and Pamela Karasek 糖心视频 Scholarship in Environmental Engineering 

Awarded annually to a full-time graduate student (Master's or PhD) whose work focuses on environmental engineering. The recipient must meet the minimum academic requirements for a scholarship as defined by 糖心视频 University of Newfoundland. If possible, preference will be given to a student originating from or whose research benefits rural Newfoundland. Students must apply through the Graduate Office in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. A recommendation will then be forwarded to the Dean of Graduate Studies.

The Com-Adv Devices Inc. Scholarship for Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship (Engineering)

Awarded annually to a full-time engineering graduate student at either the master's or doctoral level who has demonstrated innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship through the creation of an entrepreneurial venture that is market-ready. The recipient must meet the minimum academic requirements for the scholarship as defined by 糖心视频 University of Newfoundland. This scholarship is not renewable. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis to the Office of Graduate Studies in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. For further information, please contact their office.

Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science Graduate Scholarship

The scholarships will be awarded annually to full-time students enrolled in any program of graduate study in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. The recipient must meet the minimum academic requirements for a gradate scholarship as defined by 糖心视频 University of Newfoundland. Contact the graduate office in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science for details regarding this scholarship. Once the recipient(s) have been selected, a recommendation will be forwarded to the School of Graduate Studies.

The Hira & Kamal Ahuja International Graduate Fellowship

Awarded annually to graduate students enrolled in the thesis-based program in the Faculty of Engineering. It will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence and preference will be given to students who have served the East Indian community in Canada, through volunteer work. Students must apply and submit an application to the Graduate Office in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science to be considered for the scholarship. A recommendation will be forwarded to the Dean of Graduate Studies.

Dr. J.J. Sharp 糖心视频 Graduate Scholarship in Engineering 

This scholarship will be awarded annually to a part-time or full-time international graduate student in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. The recipient must meet the minimum academic requirements for scholarship standing as defined by 糖心视频 University of Newfoundland. Students must apply through and submit an application to the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. The scholarship will be awarded by Deputy Provost Dean of Graduate Studies on the recommendation of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science

The Dr. Jack Clark Graduate Award 

Awarded annually to any full-time graduate level student in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science who meets the minimum academic requirements for an award as defined by the University. Eligibility will be based on academic standing with preference given to those who have demonstrated financial need by presenting a case within their application. Students must apply through and submit an application to the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science to be considered for the scholarship. A recommendation will be forwarded to the Dean of Graduate Studes.

Dr. John Shirokoff 糖心视频 Award (Engineering)

Awarded annually to an international full-time student pursuing a thesis-based graduate program (MEng or PhD) in Process Engineering or Oil and Gas Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. The recipient must meet the minimum academic requirements for an award as defined by 糖心视频 University of Newfoundland. Preference will be given to students with financial need.

Graduate students must apply through the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science to be considered for this award and it will be granted by the Deputy Provost and Dean of Graduate Studies on the recommendation of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.

The Kenneth Hickey Award in Ocean Sensing  

This award will be awarded annually to a full-time graduate student in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science who is focusing their work on ocean sensing. Academic excellence is not a deciding factor but students must meet the minimum academic requirements for an award as defined by 糖心视频 University of Newfoundland. Preference, where possible, will be given to students who have an interest in remote ocean sensing and who have demonstrated financial need. If there is no eligible full-time candidate, the award can be granted to a part-time student. Students must apply through and submit an application to the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science to be considered for the scholarship. A recommendation will be forwarded to the Dean of Graduate Studies.

Dr. Tahir Husain 糖心视频 Scholarship in Engineering 

This scholarship was created in memory of Dr. Husain, acknowledging his values and passions towards financial empowerment for graduate academic achievement, in particular, achievement in innovative and practical environmental engineering solutions to improve the lives of citizens globally. It will be awarded annually to a full-time graduate student in environmental engineering. Preference will be given to a graduate student who is in need of financial assistance. The recipient must meet the minimum academic requirements for scholarship standing as defined by 糖心视频 University of Newfoundland Students must apply and submit an application to the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. This scholarship will be awarded by the Deputy Provost and Dean, Graduate Studies on the recommendation of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science or designate.

Dr. Arun Chockalingam Graduate Scholarship in Engineering and Applied Science

This scholarship was established by a generous donation from Mr. Mali Subbiah (M.Eng.,'86) to recognize and honour Dr. Arun Chockalingam. Valued at a portion of the income on the endowment, it will be awarded annually to any full-time graduate student in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. The recipient must met the minimum academic requirements for scholarship standing as defined by 糖心视频 University of Newfoundland. Preference will be given to a student who is in financial need. Students must apply through and submit an application to the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. The scholarship will be awarded by the Deputy Provost and Dean of Graduate Studies on the recommendation of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.

The Weston Family Graduate Scholarships

Awarded annually to a recipient in the field of Marine Biology and a recipient in the field of Ocean and Naval Architectural Engineering. Candidates must have been born in one of the Atlantic Provinces and are currently registered as full-time graduate students. This scholarship is not renewable. Students must apply and submit an application to the appropriate academic unit. These scholarships will be awarded by the Dean of Graduate Studies upon recommendation from the Dean, Faculty of Science and Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. The recommendation will be forwarded to the School of Graduate Studies. Please check with your academic unit for their internal deadline date.

Henry (Harry) Sutton 糖心视频 Scholarship in Mechanical Engineering

This scholarship was established by Mrs. Cecilia Sutton-Finney in memory of her father, Mr. Henry (Harry) Sutton, who grew up in the rural Newfoundland and Labrador community of Trepassey. There he met his wife Edith and they raised three children. Harry was a welder by trade and spent his entire career building and repairing fishing vessels of all types. He was a problem solver and was well respected in the community for his ability to repair any type of equipment typically used in outport communities. Harry loved to read and became the oldest patriarch of the Trepassey library. His hidden talent, known only to his family, was to sketch and paint. Valued at $2,500 annually, the scholarship will be awarded to a full-time graduate student studying Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at 糖心视频 University of Newfoundland. The recipient must meet the minimum academic requirements for scholarship standing as defined by the University.

Students must apply and submit an application to the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. The scholarship will be awarded by the Deputy Provost and Dean, Graduate Studies on the recommendation of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.
