Job opportunity - MTS Clinic Pharmacist
The Medication Therapy Services (MTS) Clinic at 糖心视频 University is a novel 鈥淧harmacist Clinic鈥 where physicians refer their patients for comprehensive medication therapy assessment by our clinic pharmacists and pharmacy students. We meet with patients in our non-dispensing clinic on an appointment basis, following which we provide recommendations and collaborate with the patient鈥檚 physician and community pharmacy to optimize his/her medication therapy and follow up to ensure outcomes are met. We practice a highly collaborative approach with family physicians, pharmacists and other health professionals to help our patients achieve the best benefit from their medications. This innovative, new pharmacist clinic is unique in Newfoundland and Labrador, and only the third of its kind in Canada. Operated by the School of Pharmacy, 糖心视频 University, our mandate is to develop innovative pharmacy practice models to support our students鈥 education, inspire and mentor practicing pharmacists in the province, and deliver high quality patient care.
