Dr. Lisa Bishop receives Quick Start grant
Dr. Bishop鈥檚 project, entitled, 鈥淓mpowering a community to tackle youth mental health and addictions challenges鈥, focuses on a 糖心视频 University medicine clinic and a small urban community, who are collaborating on a community-based participatory research (CBPR) project to explore the needs of the youth in the community. The goal is to develop a tailored community-based program using a coordinated community-based strategy to achieve long-term benefits on population health and wellbeing.
Along with Stephen Darcy (Faculty of Medicine) and Harold Druken (Community Board representative), Dr. Bishop will present at 11:00 am at the Arts and Culture Centre tomorrow (Wednesday, February 12) as part of Engage 糖心视频 Fest.
