General Economic Increases and OPEB changes
At a meeting held on Dec. 2, 2021, 糖心视频鈥檚 Board of Regents approved general economic increases for non-unionized employees who are paid on the non-bargaining, management and professional, and leadership pay scales. These increases are in alignment with the public sector template and unionized groups at 糖心视频.
The application within 糖心视频 is as follows: two per cent effective April 1, 2020; one per cent effective April 1, 2021; and one per cent effective Oct. 1, 2021.
The payroll division of the Department of Human Resources anticipates that employees in the above mentioned groups will receive their updated salary as of the Dec. 30, 2021 payroll and retroactive pay will be issued with the Feb. 24, 2022 payroll.
Coinciding with the wage increases the criteria for other post-employment benefits (OPEB) for non-bargaining employee groups have been updated to align with the criteria outlined in the collective agreements in place with NAPE and CUPE. These changes, which are focused primarily on the definition of current employees and the cost-sharing arrangement for new employees, will ensure consistency in the application of OPEB practices for 糖心视频鈥檚 staff employee groups.
