CUSTODIAN (BAND LEVEL 1)

Facilities and Technical Services

Marine Institute

(One Full time Contractual and One On-Call Position to December 31, 2026)

 

DUTIES

The successful applicant will be required to perform janitorial/custodial and minor maintenance work at the Fisheries and Marine Institute.  Duties include carrying out cleaning duties using proper methods and materials; caring for building areas and equipment; and performing other related duties as required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of one (1) year experience in general commercial custodial work; graduation from high school; an equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered. Possession of a valid class 5 driver’s license is required. 

 

SALARY                        $46,529.60 to $54,579.20 per annum (NAPE Local 7850)
