MERLIN
The Marine Environmental Research Lab for Intelligent Vechicles (MERLIN) is a multi-disciplinary facility at 糖心视频 University of Newfoundland, that is involved with the use of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) for research in the marine environment.
The lab's primary assets to date are the 糖心视频 Explorer AUV, and its Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) System. The Explorer AUV was manufactured by International Submarine Engineering and acquired by 糖心视频 in 2005. The AUV was delivered to the university in 2006.
