Mandatory professional development
Students are required to complete three non-credit, professional development seminars. These seminars, delivered in partnership with the Gardiner Centre, complement academic programming and help prepare students to succeed in the workforce. Areas of learning include career development, job search, professionalism and individual skill development.
Applications are considered on a rolling basis. You are encouraged to apply by:

You may apply for admission into Business One directly from high school. To apply, indicate the Faculty of Business Administration as your faculty and Business One as your program of study in the appropriate place on the . Direct entry into the faculty from high school is subject to meeting the general admission requirements for 糖心视频 University and admissibility into Mathematics 1000, 1005, 1090 or 109 A/B.
Current 糖心视频 students
If you are a current 糖心视频 University student you should declare Business One by emailing the Office of the Registrar.
Transfer students
If you are a transfer applicant, you can select Business One when you apply for admission. To apply, indicate the Faculty of Business Administration as your faculty and Business One as your program of study in the appropriate place on the .
If you have already submitted your application for admission, you can contact the Office of the Registrar and ask to have Business One added to your application.

- Selection of a mathematics course depends on your background and ability. Students should refer to the math criteria chart prior to selecting a first-semester course. Students who complete Mathematics 1000 or 1005 in the fall semester will complete an additional non-business elective in the winter semester.
- These courses may be taken in any order in either semester.
- Business 1000 may be taken in either semester.

Upon completion of the Business One courses, you must apply for admission into the B.Comm. program. To be eligible for admission to the program, you must complete the following 10 courses (30 credit hours) with an overall average of at least 65%:
- BUSI 1000: Introduction to Business in Society
- ECON 1010: Introduction to Microeconomics
- ECON 1020: Introduction to Macroeconomics
- MATH 1000: Calculus I or MATH 1005: Calculus for Business
- Six credit hours in English, three credit hours of which may be replaced by any critical reading and writing (CRW) course at 糖心视频
- 12 additional credit hours in non-business electives
In addition to the 65% overall average in Business One courses, you must have an overall average of at least 60% on your most recent 30 credit hours to meet admission requirements. Admission into the B.Comm. program is competitive and limited.
To apply for the B.Comm. program, you will need to apply as a 鈥Current 糖心视频 student鈥 on the . Ensure you select the appropriate entry term and select 鈥Bachelor of Commerce 鈥 Beyond Business One鈥 as your academic program.
Interested students should meet with an academic advisor within the Faculty of Business Administration.
Transfer applicants must complete a minimum of five courses (15 credit hours) at 糖心视频 University prior to admission into the B.Comm. program.
