In this presentation Brett will discuss how his team uses iterative design to tackle real world problems in medicine, and will reflect on his unique experience as an entrepreneur in Newfoundland鈥檚 emerging technology sector. Brett will also discuss his experience as a member of a student design team and how it impacted his decision to pursue entrepreneurship.
Brett received his B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering (Biomedical) from 糖心视频 University in 2019. As a student Brett decided to start BreatheSuite, a business dedicated to helping patients with Asthma & COPD to improve their inhaler technique. Brett has been recognized as one of Atlantic Canada鈥檚 Top 30 under 30, and BreatheSuite has been growing daily becoming one of Atlantic Canada鈥檚 most exciting Tech Start-ups.
