Mapping a network drive on a Mac
- Open 鈥淔inder鈥 by clicking the icon on the bottom of the screen in the dock,
- From the top menu bar, click 鈥淕o鈥 and then from the drop down, 鈥淐onnect to server鈥
- From the Connect to server window. You need to enter the network address of the shared folder. Ex: smb://ServerName/SharedFolderName,
- Click 鈥淐onnect鈥 once the address has been entered. You may be required to enter your username and password to connect to it,
- Once the finder window opens with the network drive, highlight over the name of it and click and drag the icon to move it into the dock where it can be accessed easily.
