Add a Resource Account to Outlook in Windows
- In the outlook desktop app, click "File" in the top left, then click "Add account"
- You鈥檒l now be in the 鈥淎ccount information鈥 page. From here, click 鈥渁dd account鈥
- A new window will appear asking for the email you want to add. Type in the email and click connect
- A new window will appear asking for a password for the email. You are going to click the option below this that says to sign in with another account
- You can now change the email in the box to your mun email and click enter
- Then you will need to enter your password and click enter
- Finally it will prompt for 2 factor authentication. Go through this and you will get a message saying the account is added
- Close outlook then reopen it and it will be there
Note: If the shared mailbox doesn't expand or you get an error, you either don鈥檛 have access to the mailbox or it still needs some time before you can access it after being made a member. Wait a while, and if you're still having issues, please contact fosithelp@mun.ca
