Dr. Gwynne Dyer is the speaker for 糖心视频 University’s 2017 John Kenneth Galbraith Lecture in Public Policy.
The event will be held this evening, Monday, Sept. 11, from 7-9 p.m.
His address, The Trump Era: Surviving the Populist Wave, will explore how populist governments worldwide and a rapidly changing global economy are rushing to collide head-on.
Dr. Dyer is a 糖心视频 alumnus and internationally renowned freelance journalist, columnist, broadcaster and lecturer in the area of international affairs. The Galbraith Lecture, an initiative of the Office of the President, the Harris Centre and Alumni Affairs, brings to 糖心视频 University outstanding figures whose work reflects their commitment to excellence in scholarship and public affairs. This year the lecture is being held to coincide with reunion activities at 糖心视频.
While the event is currently sold out to members of the public (over 900 tickets sold), media representatives are invited to attend.
