SUBJECT: PSA: 糖心视频 University launches Dialect Atlas of Newfoundland and Labrador

The online Dialect Atlas of Newfoundland and Labrador will help preserve the rich cultural heritage of this province by documenting the regional distribution of the many traditional linguistic features that characterize English in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The atlas will be officially launched on Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 4-6 p.m. at The Landing, University Centre, on 糖心视频’s St. John’s campus.
All are welcome to attend and discover Newfoundland and Labrador’s first dialect atlas.
The Dialect Atlas of Newfoundland and Labrador is one of only a handful of online regional dialect atlases in the English-speaking world.
