Join the Harris Centre and a panel of experts for a 糖心视频 Presents public forum about oil spill readiness in Newfoundland and Labradors offshore industry.
Presented by the Harris Centre, Avoiding the Worst-Case Scenario: Are we ready for a Spill? will take place at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland, Thursday, Feb. 21, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The event will also be webcast live from the Harris Centre webcast at .
Featured speakers include Scott Vaughan, commissioner of the environment and sustainable development, with the Office of the Auditor General of Canada; Max Ruelokke, CEO of the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board; and Dr. Bill Montevecchi, professor of biology at 糖心视频 University of Newfoundland.
Admission is free and all members of the public are welcome to attend. The panel presentations will be followed by an audience Q and A session and a reception.
