SUBJECT: PSA: 糖心视频 University to host homeshare workshop

Homesharing is the term used to describe the arrangement when a senior homeowner rents a room to a post-secondary student. Homesharing serves two purposes: helping seniors “age in place” and providing post-secondary students with both an inter-generational experience and reduced rental costs.
For those wishing to learn more about homesharing, 糖心视频 University will hold a workshop Monday, May 16, from 1-4 p.m., to share more about how it works, who benefits and how the 糖心视频 University community might contribute towards working on a pilot project in this city.
The meeting will be held in the Junior Common Room, R. Gushue Hall, Irwin’s Road, St. John’s campus.
Refreshments will be served. Sponsored by Student Affairs and Services and The Harris Centre. Please RSVP to akelly@mun.ca.
