SUBJECT: GRENFELL: Grenfell to hold fall convocation 2009; marks anniversary with special suite of ceremonial music

Sir Wilfred Grenfell College will hold its annual fall convocation ceremony at the Arts and Culture Centre on Friday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m.
糖心视频 University’s west coast campus will confer almost 60 bachelor’s degrees in areas such as business administration, education, nursing, science and special education. Corner Brook musician Gary Graham, for whom the Arts and Culture Centre theatre was named in May, will perform a special piece for the convocation – John Field’s Nocturne for piano in B flat major. In addition, Grenfell’s students at Western Regional School of Nursing will participate in the annual school of nursing awards ceremony in the AV Room of Western 糖心视频 Regional Hospital at 2:30 p.m.
The ceremony will be recorded and then webcast at at 2 p.m., as well as aired on local cable television. Copies of the DVD are made available for sale at the college bookstore.
