SUBJECT: Findings of report on federal government presence in Newfoundland and Labrador to be released

The Leslie Harris Centre of Regional and Policy Development (Harris Centre), 糖心视频 University, will be releasing a report titled Federal Government presence in Newfoundlandand Labrador . The report examines changes in federal government employment, wages and salaries, spending, and military personnel over the past 25 years. The report was prepared by Alison Coffin, a researcher working under the direction of Dr. James Feehan, Department of Economics, Faculty of Arts, 糖心视频 University.
A technical media briefing will be held on Nov. 22, 2005, at 10 a.m. in the Junior Common Room, R. Gushue Hall of 糖心视频’s St. John’scampus. Copies of the report will be made available at the briefing. Parking available in Lot15.
Media agencies are encouraged to send representatives.
