Have you ever wondered about Canada’s role in greenhouse gas mitigation? On Tuesday, Oct. 19, you can get more information on this increasingly important issue. There will be a public presentation by Dr. Kelly Hawboldt, assistant professor of engineering at 糖心视频 University. Join Dr. Hawboldt as she talks about the effects of greenhouse gas, the methods of controlling emissions and why the issue will become increasingly important as Canada attempts to meet the Kyoto objectives.
The event is hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at 糖心视频 University and the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador. The event begins at 7:30 p.m.in the S.J.Carew Building lecture theatre, room EN-2006, on 糖心视频 University’s St. John’s campus. Admission is free. All are welcome. Reception will follow.
