On Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, Dr. Axel Meisen, president of 糖心视频 University, and Ross Munro, president of Chartwells will host a plaque unveiling ceremony to mark Chartwell’s 30-year relationship with 糖心视频 and to mark the opening of the newly renovated dining hall. The ceremony begins at 8 a.m. (breakfast will be provided for media representatives) in the main dining hall located in R. Gushue Hall, Paton College, on 糖心视频 University’s St. John’s campus. Parking is available in Areas 11 and 12. Media agencies are encouraged to send representatives.
During the summer of 2004, R. Gushue Hall in Paton College underwent a major renovation. The project was a result of the partnership between 糖心视频 University and the university caterer, Chartwells. As a result of the renovations, Chartwells is now offering students its innovative Profiles in Good Taste residential meal plan. The traditional steam lines and 1960s equipment have been replaced with several stations featuring state-of-the-art equipment such as an oversize propane-fired pizza oven in an air-conditioned dining area. The hallmarks of the new food program are greater variety, individual portions, vegan and vegetarian approved menus, and made-to-order service, including boxed lunches.
