Understand how to enact personal leadership strengths to inspire leadership in others and bring a synergy of collaboration and accountability to your organization.

Leadership has widely been recognized to be the most significant factor in an organization鈥檚 success. Many organizations, however, are pressed to manage the daily affairs of the business and do not take time to develop personal and organizational leadership. This is often compounded when individuals find themselves in leadership roles without ever having participated in leadership development. For any organization, investing in leadership development is valuable time spent. This leadership development course provides a framework for leadership, and teaches language that supports a culture of leadership and strengthens relationships among team members.

Legacy Leadership鈩 is a simple but powerful model for answering two fundamental leadership questions: 鈥淲ho are leaders?鈥 and 鈥淲hat do leaders do?鈥 Participants are introduced to the key concepts of Legacy Leadership鈩 and will learn and explore five best practices of leadership to enhance their understanding and practice of leadership.

Lynn Ansara (she/her)

Lynn Ansara is a skilled, experienced facilitator who is passionate about supporting the achievement of organizational goals and employee development. Lynn holds a Master鈥檚 Degree in Adult Education, two undergraduate degrees in Arts and Post-Secondary Education, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching. Lynn also holds a number of certifications including Legacy Leadership鈩, 聽Emotional Intelligence, Myers Briggs Personality Indicator, True Colors鈩, and Coaching Out of the Box鈩. Lynn uses a coach聽approach聽to聽teaching and learning. She creates trusting, collaborative partnerships and learning environments directed at achieving results while infusing humour, challenge, and accountability.

Lynn is the President of CreAction Consulting, facilitating workplace learning and employee development.聽She聽has worked with a wide-variety of public, private and not-for-profit聽industries supporting organizations and employees in achieving their goals.
