They did it the 'write' way
Each year the hosts a national essay competiton. In 2019, two of our students won!
Kiera Galway won first place in the Dr. Franklin Churchley Graduate Essay Competition for her essay, 鈥淣esting Dolls, nested places: Making meaningful connections among music education, place and identity鈥.
Emily Finch, one of our undergraduate students, won second place in the Kenneth Bray Undergraduate Essay Competition for her essay: 鈥淩oots, rituals and risks: Promising practices for engaging trans* students in secondary choral settings鈥.
