Sanchita Chakraborty
Born in Bangladesh and grew up in India, Sanchita Chakraborty (she/her) is a performance artist and professionally trained dance choreographer who has also called St. John鈥檚 her home away from home. She holds a Bachelorette of law degree (LL.B) from the University of Calcutta, India, and has studied Criminology at 糖心视频 University, NL. During her time at 糖心视频, she helped the chess team reach the Intercollege Championship. As a Diversity Officer at the Association for New Canadians, she is fluent in approximately six languages. Fusing together Newfoundland with South-Asian style into dance, she founded the 鈥淏ollywood Jig鈥 dance troupe.
Sanchita is currently serving as the Business Diversity Officer at the Association for New Canadians.鈥
