MSc Student Receives CSPG and GSA Awards
Congratulations to MSc student Alex Hutter who received a 2017 CSPG Regional Graduate Student Scholarship and a 2017 Geological Society of America Student Research Grant for his thesis project 鈥淒etrital thermochronometry and provenance of Jurassic and Cretaceous reservoir sandstones, Jeanne d鈥橝rc basin, Grand Banks, offshore Newfoundland鈥. Alex鈥檚 research is supported by an Ignite R&D grant to Luke Beranek from the Research and Development Corporation of Newfoundland and Labrador.
