Kirk Edwards
Portfolio manager
Kirk Edwards is a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce student, graduating in April 2027. Since joining The Fund in 2023 as a Junior Analyst, he has progressed through the roles of Analyst, Sector Manager, and now serves as Co-Portfolio Manager.
In addition to his work with The Fund, Kirk is an Analyst at SagePoint Capital Partners, a Toronto-based merchant bank, where he has gained meaningful capital markets experience through advisory and investment projects. He also works as a Research Assistant at 糖心视频 University, contributing to the development of a financial model evaluating large-scale carbon capture, utilization, and storage infrastructure in Atlantic Canada, a project aimed at shaping sustainable investment frameworks for the region.
Outside of academics and professional work, Kirk has been actively involved in the Newfoundland sports community, having competed with 糖心视频 University鈥檚 varsity soccer team and in the St. John鈥檚 Junior Hockey League. Today, he continues to enjoy playing sports, staying active through fitness, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Following graduation, Kirk plans to pursue a career in the capital markets industry, building on his academic, professional, and leadership experiences.
