Join us for MUNalum Days 2020!

Each October, ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ University hosts a slew of educational and fun events and celebrations for our alumni and friends. Formerly known as Reunions, this year marks the first , which will include faculty, departmental and unit-hosted events, as well as pan-university events:

  • feature four outstanding recipients. The event will take place on Oct. 26 and will be live-streamed from Signal Hill Campus. #munalumdays2020
  • – a virtual celebration for fall graduates, featuring host Sheila Williams (B.Mus.Ed. ’06), performers Sherman Downey (BA’02, B.Ed.’03) and The Once - Andrew Dale (B.Mus.’03), Phil Churchill (BFA’00, B.Ed.’04) and Geraldine Hollett (BFA’99) – all of whom are ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ alumni! #mungrad2020
  • : Hosted by Dallas Mercer, this virtual panel organized by the ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Centre for Entrepreneurship will bring together three recent ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ alumni – Emily Bland, Jeremy Andrews and Isaac Adejuwon - who explored entrepreneurship as students and then built a successful start-up after graduation.
  • : Anyone can enjoy the beauty of our universe on a dark and clear night – you just have to know how to find a sparkly starry location. Gros Morne National Park has been working towards Dark Sky Preserve designation with the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. This presentation will discuss how to give practical tips on how to select the best time and place for stargazing, find your bearings, read sky maps and trace constellations across the sky.
  • : ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµâ€™s Faculty of Education and the Newfoundland and Labrador Teacher’s Association are proud to present this new series. The first session, Reframing COVID-19: Finding Opportunities in a New Normal, examines the unexpected positive impacts and outcomes of the pandemic on learning, teaching and the education systems.
  • This virtual fair is designed to ensure important connections are being made among employers, students and alumni while also supporting public health and safety.
  • : Virtually visit the Geo Centre’s haunted laboratory this Halloween for a monstrously mad science show and spooktacular story time!
